Michael Buble will reportedly front this year's Christmas advertising campaign for Asda.
The 48-year-old singer has a huge UK fanbase, having topped the albums chart five times - including with his 2011 festive record Christmas.
According to The Sun, Buble has agreed a deal to star in a series of Asda adverts which will be made by Hollywood director Taika Waititi.
"The Christmas telly ad market has ballooned. Everyone wants to have the best in the game," a source told the newspaper.
"John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury's and all the others pull out all the stops.
"But it's hard to see anyone topping getting Buble singing in an Asda uniform. It's a brilliant idea."
The retailer's Christmas adverts are normally released in late October or early November each year.
