Little Mix to host MTV's Europe Music Awards next month

Little Mix are revealed as the hosts of next month's MTV Europe Music Awards.

Little Mix have been named as the hosts of this year's unique MTV EMAs ceremony.

Due to coronavirus, the regular stadium-level event is being reimagined as a "celebration of global music" with performances shot at multiple locations worldwide, including in Hungary - this year's official sponsor.

Four-piece girl group Little Mix will preside over proceedings from the ceremony's main base in London and will also perform new track 'Sweet Melody' from upcoming album Confetti.

"What an honour," the girls said in a statement. "To present the MTV EMAs is a dream, it's such a special event.

"We've always loved watching the spectacular performances and seeing who everyone has voted to win. The show will go on and we can't wait!"
