Celine Dion has been forced to cancel the remainder of her world tour as she continues to fight back against a rare health condition.
The Courage World Tour began in her native Canada in late 2019, also taking in dates in the US before going on hold in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The remainder of the tour, which would have concluded with 10 dates in the UK and Ireland, was rescheduled from 2022 to 2024 but those plans had to go on ice when Dion revealed late last year that she was suffering from 'Stiff Person Syndrome'.
The condition causes a sufferer's muscles to tense up uncontrollably - effectively making them "human statues", and in some cases even leaving them unable to walk or talk.
In a message to fans, the 55-year-old said: "It is with tremendous disappointment that we have to announce today the cancellation of the Courage World Tour.
"I'm so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I'm working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you're 100%.
"It's not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it's best that we cancel everything now until I'm really ready to be back on stage again.
"I want you all to know, I'm not giving up... and I can't wait to see you again!"
Fans who were due to attend the 73 dates affected will receive full refunds in the coming weeks.
