Tom Holland lands in Georgia ahead of Spider-Man 3 filming

Tom Holland reveals that filming is about to start on his third standalone Spider-Man movie.

Tom Holland has revealed that filming on his third Spider-Man film is about to begin in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 24-year-old has appeared as the superhero in two standalone films, as well as three MCU movies, since 2016 and is now preparing for a new as-yet untitled movie, to be released as part of Marvel's Phase Four.

Posting on his Instagram Stories this week, Holland told followers: "OK so we just landed in Atlanta and it's time for Spider-Man 3, let's go!"

The new movie is rumoured to feature a major twist by bringing back Holland's predecessors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield for a storyline that will see the parallel universe versions of Spider-Man battle a series of his classic foes.

Jamie Foxx is also thought to be on board to return as villain Electro for the film, which is currently due for release on December 12, 2021.
