More Celebrity MasterChef contestants revealed?

Joe Swash, Dion Dublin and Melissa Johns reportedly join the lineup for the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Joe Swash, Melissa Johns and Dion Dublin have all reportedly joined the lineup for this year's Celebrity MasterChef.

The new series of the cooking contest is thought to have begun filming under coronavirus-safe guidelines this week, with 20 famous faces said to be taking part.

Former glamour model Katie Price was previously reported to be on board for the new series, and now The Sun has identified another trio of contestants.

Supposedly taking part are actor and presenter Swash, 39; former Coronation Street star Johns, 31; and footballer-turned-presenter Dublin, 51.

Of Johns, who also starred in the BBC's Life In August, a source told the newspaper: "Melissa is a novice in the kitchen but can't wait to get started on the show.

"She's admitted that while she's nervous and starting the competition she's planning on giving it her all and will embrace every challenge thrown at her."

The new series is expected to air later this summer, while the new series of the regular MasterChef will air on BBC One from March 1.
