James Price, a "Chelsea party boy", is the latest contestant rumoured for the Love Island lineup.

James Price, a "Chelsea party boy" originally from Worcester, has reportedly been signed up as a contestant on this year's Love Island.

Producers are currently finalising the lineup for the new series of the ITV2 dating show ahead of its launch at the end of June.

According to the Daily Mail, one of those who has made the cut is 23-year-old Price, who works as a recruitment consultant and is an ex of former Love Island star Lucie Donlan.

"James is in final talks with producers and they're really keen on signing him this year," a source told the newspaper.

"He's cheeky, fun and handsome – and will be a sure-fire hit with the female contestants, while he's also on the lookout for his dream girl.

"Lucie Donlan is his type on paper. They grew close in Newquay the summer before she went on the show but their flirtation didn't grow into a relationship.

"While James is from Worcester, his group of friends reside in Fulham and he spent a lot of time before the pandemic partying in Chelsea."

Nigel Benn's boxer son Harley Benn is also rumoured to be in the lineup.
