Matt Hancock is reportedly planning to become a presenter of hard-hitting documentaries following his stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The former health secretary controversially took part in the ITV reality show last month and struck a chord with some viewers, being voted through to the final and managing an eventual third-place finish.

Upon returning to the UK, Hancock announced that he will be stepping down as a member of Parliament at the next general election, which is due to take place by January 2025 at the latest.

According to The Times, Hancock has received offers from several broadcasters keen to sign him up to front issue-led documentary programmes and is "considering" a career switch.

Potential topics for the shows include the hot potato issue of assisted dying, which Hancock has become in favour of, as well as dyslexia - a long-term campaigning issue for the politician.

Hancock will soon be seen on screen on the next series of Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which was filmed in advance before he appeared on I'm A Celebrity and will be broadcast early next year.
