ITV has reportedly decided not to invite Katie Price back for the upcoming all stars edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The 43-year-old former glamour model is one of the most memorable contestants in the show's history, first appearing in 2004 when she met future husband Peter Andre on screen, before returning for a second stint five years later.
When news of the all stars spinoff first emerged, Price expressed her desire to take part on social media, but The Sun says that ITV believes that would be inappropriate following recent dramas in her private life.
"There is no doubt that Katie makes great TV and was one of the standouts on I'm A Celeb over the years, but she is too much of a liability for the show to cast her in the All-Stars version," a source told the newspaper.
"Given her pending court case, as well as her existing convictions, the series can't be seen to endorse her by inviting her back into the jungle.
"Ultimately this show has a very broad audience and a lot of younger viewers, and right now, she isn't a suitable contestant for a family show.
"Of course this may change in the future when there has been some distance from all the legal dramas, but as it stands currently, ITV don't think it would be appropriate - even though they know she would deliver ratings gold."
The all stars series will be pre-recorded in South Africa this summer for broadcast in early 2023.
