Food critic Grace Dent has reportedly signed up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 50-year-old - a regular guest judge on MasterChef - has been gently critical of the ITV show in the past, once describing it as "a puerile venture into starvation, televised constipation and animal cruelty, abbreviated by ads for Iceland £1 curries".

According to The Sun, Dent has now signed a deal worth £100,000 to enter the Aussie jungle when the new series starts on November 19.

"MasterChef fans know Grace for her withering put-downs of contestants' food and disdain for anything less than stellar cooking," a source told the newspaper.

"But she'll be eating humble pie in the jungle, surviving on rice and beans and taking part in Bushtucker trials."

Other names thought to be in the lineup include former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, jockey Frankie Dettori, presenter Denise van Outen, JLS singer Marvin Humes, ex-Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson and This Morning host Josie Gibson.
