Ariel Butwyna has joined the cast of Hollyoaks playing Juan, a new love interest for Scott (Ross Adams).
The Spanish actor was spotted in Liverpool with Adams this week filming loved-up scenes between the two characters which are due to air later in the spring.
Scott has been without a serious romantic partner since the abrupt departure of husband Mitchell (Imran Adams) two-and-a-half years ago, but could he have finally found the one in Juan?
"I'm having a fantastic time filming with Hollyoaks," said Butwyna. "I am so happy to be playing the role of Juan, who has such a lovely and sweet storyline with Scott.
"Working with Ross Adams is a true pleasure, and I've even had the chance to share some time on set with Alex Fletcher (Diane) - everyone is so welcoming. Truly, a very kind and fun environment to work in."
Hollyoaks continues weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, 7pm on E4 and from 12am on All 4.
