Kate Garraway has revealed that her husband Derek Draper has returned to hospital but is doing "okay".

Draper, 54, was admitted to hospital in March 2020 after contracting coronavirus and his condition rapidly deteriorated, leading doctors to put him into a medically-induced coma for several months.

The disease ravaged his internal organs and left him with multiple serious health problems, but he was eventually allowed to return home - albeit with 24-hour care - in April 2021.

Talking to The Sun about his health, Good Morning Britain host Garraway said: "He's okay, he's back in hospital actually, so that's a development. There we are."

Garraway has filmed two acclaimed documentaries, Finding Derek and Caring For Derek, about her husband's recovery for ITV.
