OG Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle says that she would like to return to the show for its upcoming 10th anniversary.

Original Gogglebox cast member Sandi Bogle has said that she would love to make a return to the show for its upcoming 10th anniversary.

The hugely-popular Channel 4 format, which features members of the public watching the best and the worst of the last week's TV, debuted on March 7, 2013.

Gogglebox has since become a staple of the broadcaster's schedules, airing for 20 series and spawning a celebrity spinoff.

Bogle was part of the initial cast lineup alongside her best friend Sandra Martin but chose to leave the show after nine series in 2017.

Now she is hoping for a one-off comeback to mark the 10th anniversary, telling the Daily Star: "I think they will do something special. That's what the fans are crying out for. And if it does happen, I would be happy to go back.

"Of course I would want to be part of it. I'm one of the originals. I'd just be me."

She continued: "Gogglebox is an amazing concept. The show is a success because it has different types of people in it. They're everyday people. It's real.

"It's what people do every single day... watching TV. And it's a show about bringing people together. You can get your food in and watch it as a family."

The new series of Gogglebox begins on Friday, February 24 on Channel 4.
