Celebrity Gogglebox removed from All4 after Eamonn Holmes complaint

Last night's episode of Celebrity Gogglebox is removed from catch-up service All4 after Eamonn Holmes complained about how he was edited.

Last night's episode of Celebrity Gogglebox has been removed from Channel 4's catchup service All4 following a complaint from Eamonn Holmes.

The This Morning presenter and wife Ruth Langsford have returned as contributors for the second series, which began on the network last night.

One of the clips shown was a scene from the BBC series Ambulance in which a 10-year-old boy was heard reacting to his father collapsing of a heart attack before successfully performing CPR.

Holmes was then seen recalling how he forgot the directions to the local hospital when his wife was in labour, prompting criticism from some viewers that he had trivialised a serious incident.

Taking to Twitter, a furious Holmes hit out at an "atrocious" edit of his comments, revealing that he had actually reacted to the clip by opening up about watching his own father die of a heart attack as a child.

The episode was made available on All4 after its broadcast last night but was removed earlier this afternoon, prompting speculation that the episode is being re-edited to remove the offending comments.

Channel 4 has yet to reply to Holmes publicly, and a repeat of the episode on 4Seven tonight is still scheduled to go ahead.
