This is the emotional second Lionel Messi and his colleagues verged on being knocked off the rear of their open-top transport minutes subsequent to getting back to Argentina to commend their Reality Cup win against France.

As they drove slowly through a sea of jubilant Argentinian fans, the video shows Messi and four teammates, including Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria, being forced to duck under an overhead power cable at the last moment.

In an attempt to catch a glimpse of the Argentina football team as they traveled through Buenos Aires on an open-top bus, fans lined the streets in the middle of the night.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo de Paul was captured on video spotting the cable at the last moment and urging his teammates to duck down.

To avoid being knocked off the open-top bus by the cable, the five teammates ducked low.

Despite having to quickly move to avoid the cable, Leandro Paredes was able to maintain his balance while perched on the edge of the bus's top deck.

He ducked down just in time, but when the cable hit the top of his head, he lost his baseball cap.

From his high-up position in the middle of the group of five Argentinian players, Messi was clutching the World Cup. He took the shock in stride and tried to laugh it off as best he could as the vehicle made its way through the crowds on both sides of the road with a police escort.

In response to the apocalypse, an Argentine journalist stated: Paredes just dropped his hat. What a second. Boys, be careful.'

As they descended from their plane in Ezeiza, just outside of Buenos Aires, onto a red carpet just before three in the morning on Tuesday, the team flashed a wide grin.

Lionel Scaloni, the coach, and Messi were the first players to exit the World Cup plane. Scaloni wrapped his arm around the captain as they passed a sign that read: Champions, thank you.'

The players were greeted by the rock band La Mosca, who sang "Muchachos," a song that was written by a fan to go along with a song that the band used to make before the World Cup in Qatar. It became a popular unofficial anthem for Argentine fans.

As the newly crowned champions boarded the open-top bus to the Argentine Football Association's headquarters, several of them, including Messi, could be heard singing "Muchachos."

As fans, many of whom were waving Argentine flags, swarmed the bus on a highway, eager to catch a glimpse of the players, the bus moved at a snail's pace as police officers tried to keep them away and play gems bonanza slot.

For a nation that has been mired in economic stagnation for years, has one of the highest inflation rates in the world, and has nearly four out of every ten people living in poverty, the World Cup and the team led by Messi have brought much-needed good news.
