Alessandra has been chosen to represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool this May.
The 20-year-old triumphed in the national selection contest, Melodi Grand Prix, on Saturday night after finishing top of the voting with both the jury and the public.
Alessandra will head to Liverpool with her song 'Queen of Kings', a track about "the power of women" which she says was inspired by her experience of being a bisexual woman.
Reacting to her win on Instagram, she wrote: "I still can't believe it. I am so grateful for everything. For all the love. For the support. For the faith you have in the song and me!"
Norway will participate in the first of this year's semi-finals on May 9.
