Former Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak reveals that he is being harassed by a female stalker.

Former Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak has revealed that he has been targeted by a female stalker who has been showing up at his house.

The 37-year-old triumphed for Norway at the 2009 contest with his single 'Fairytale', competing again at the 2018 edition with 'That's How You Write a Song', albeit with an underwhelming 15th-place finish.

Rybak is now living in Los Angeles, having completed a degree in Chicago over the last few years, but has found himself the victim of unwanted attention by an obsessed fan.

"She has been harassing me every day for a long time, even showing up at my house at night," he said in a video on TikTok, adding that another fan has been messaging women that he follows online or is seen photographed with.

He continued: "It doesn't matter if it's women I work with, women I've dated, my fans, as long as they have a picture together with me, they get the most evil things written about them on the internet every day."

Rybak is currently working on new music - his first since 2015's Trolle og den magiske fela - and has plans to go back on tour.
