Ex-EastEnders star Jessica Plummer signs up for I'm A Celebrity?

Jessica Plummer reportedly signs up for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! weeks after exiting EastEnders.

Jessica Plummer has reportedly signed up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after leaving EastEnders last month.

The 28-year-old played Chantelle Atkins in the soap for 18 months, exiting in a hard-hitting domestic abuse storyline that saw her character murdered by her husband.

According to The Sun, Plummer is now set to follow in a long line of EastEnders stars to appear on the ITV reality show, which will begin in Wales next month.

"Soap stars always do well in the show," a source told the newspaper. "Just look at Jessica's Enders' predecessor Jacqueline Jossa last year.

"Bosses are delighted to be able to convince her to take part.

"It's a great move for both parties as she's just left the soap and this is a great opportunity for her personality to be shown to millions.

"She hopes it will be a real stepping stone for her career."

Others thought to have signed up for the show include Vernon Kay, ex-Strictly star AJ Pritchard and Coronation Street's Beverley Callard.
