EastEnders reveals first look at Dot's funeral

Take a look at pictures from the upcoming funeral of EastEnders legend Dot Branning.

The first pictures have been released for the upcoming funeral of Walford legend Dot Branning (June Brown) in EastEnders.

Dot, who appeared in the soap from 1985 to 2020, is being written out following the death of Brown at the age of 95 earlier this year.

In scenes broadcast this week, Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) learned the sad news that Dot had died in Ireland and in the episode airing on December 12, the Square pays its respects as Dot is laid to rest.

A host of former characters will return for the occasion, including Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), Lofty (Tom Watt), Mary the Punk (Linda Davidson), Colin Russell (Michael Cashman), Barry Clark (Gary Hailes) and Disa O'Brien (Jan Graveson).
