Coronation Street star Todd Boyce has suggested that Carla Connor (Alison King) could be next on his character Stephen's murder hitlist.
On Friday night's episode Stephen killed for the second time, murdering Teddy (Grant Burgin) after he figured out that Stephen had previously done away with his son Leo (Joe Frost).
The Canadian businessman recently took up a job working for Carla in Underworld, and in scenes to be broadcast next week, he's left furious when she embarrasses him in front of one of his old business contacts.
"Carla's getting on his wick," Boyce told the Daily Star. "She's humiliated him on two occasions in front of his former colleagues who he worked with in Milan.
"She's got a business he'd like to get his hands on. Carla is skating on very thin ice."
He continued: "If I get one more time 'So how long you going to be on the show?'... I've had the same people ask me three or four times.
"Generally-speaking, crew members here have said their husbands at home have been asking 'When are they going to find him out?' but the tease is to stretch it out."
Coronation Street continues Monday night at 8pm on ITV1.
