Ryan accepts Lauren's offer to move into her spare room at the Precinct flat, with Daniel helping him move in. But when a group of lads mock Ryan's scars, he turns on them in a rage. Daniel diffuses the situation but notices the testosterone jabs among Ryan's things.

The Waterford's manager shocks the staff by announcing that the Rovers is being shut down for an extensive refurbishment and all of their contracts have now been terminated. Adam suggests that there is a case for unfair dismissal but Jenny becomes distracted when DS Swain arrives with the news that there is no proof that either Leo or Teddy visited Canada.
