Sky rolls out a new software update for Sky Glass and Sky Stream offering users enhanced personalised features.

Sky has begun rolling out a new version of the software that powers its Sky Glass and Sky Stream products.

The major feature introduced in Entertainment OS 1.1 is 'Personalised Playlists', allowing customers to create up to five profiles for different members of the household.

Each playlist can then be stacked with each person's favourite shows, with children and adults able to keep their own programmes separated.

Also new is "jump back in, faster", which uses the voice remote to allow users to immediately pick up with an episode or show by saying the word "play" followed by the name of the show.

A new cast and crew rail on show pages - similar to that used by Prime Video - allows users to browse all titles featuring a specific person, while a new accessibility feature allows bluetooth headphones to be used to listen to a show at the same time as through the main speakers.
