The Lionsgate+ streaming service launches via Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream in the UK and Ireland.

Streaming service Lionsgate+ has launched as an app via Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream.

The service - previously known as StarzPlay - boasts a library of "exclusive premium content" such as The Serpent Queen, Becoming Elizabeth, Gaslit and Outlander.

Subscriptions are priced at £5.99 a month for customers in the UK and a cheaper rate of €4.99 a month for viewers in Ireland.

Superna Kalle, Starz' president of international networks, said: "Partnering with Sky, Europe's premium content provider, is a key strategy in strengthening LIONSGATE+'s presence in Europe and will give even more subscribers access to our massive offering of curated content.

"We look forward to strengthening our relationship with viewers through Sky who share our commitment to delivering audiences exceptional content paired with a premium user experience."

Lionsgate+ will also launch for Sky customers in Germany and Italy later in the year.
