GB News to launch new sports, business shows
GB News is to launch a new weekend sports show as well as a weekday business show.

GB News will launch a new weekend sports programme this weekend as part of the latest tweak to the channel's programme lineup.

The show - airing Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9am to 10am - will be hosted by Rhiannon Jones, who joins from CNN, and promises to offer "a comprehensive round-up of the weekend's sporting action, including big-name interviews, guests and debate as well as highlights of all the main events".

Another new show dedicated to business called On The Money will be fronted by Liam Halligan and air weekdays from 1pm to 1.30pm starting Monday, September 6, giving viewers a "daily dose of economics, business and consumer news, views and discussion".

The channel's three recently-announced new political shows will also launch on September 6, which could also be the date that Andrew Neil returns from his extended summer break.

GB News has also confirmed that it is planning to introduce new regular news bulletins in the near future.
