Katie Price is allegedly arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a car accident near the South Coast.

Katie Price has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a car accident early this morning.

The 43-year-old is understood to be banned from driving until October 13, according to The Sun, but was involved in a collision while driving through Partridge Green, near the South Coast, at 6.20am.

The newspaper says that police arrested Price on suspicion of being over the limit before taking her to hospital for an injury assessment.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision on the B2135 near Partridge Green around 6.20am on Tuesday (September 28).

"A woman, 43, was arrested on suspicion of driving while above the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and has been taken to hospital to be checked over.

"The road was blocked temporarily while recovery of the vehicle was arranged."

Price or her representatives have yet to comment on the incident.
