England captain Andrew Strauss warns his side against underestimating India in the second Test at Trent Bridge.

England captain Andrew Strauss has warned his side against complacency ahead of the second Test against India today.

The two sides meet at Trent Bridge in the second match of the four-Test series, with England 1-0 up due to their 196-run win at Lord's last week.

However, Strauss is wary of the current world number one side after India won by seven wickets when they last met in Nottingham four years ago.

"They are going to come back harder at us, their records back it up," said Strauss. "We nearly missed out on a win at Lord's four years ago and they beat us comfortably at Trent Bridge.

"They will try to prove to the world they are better than they were last week and I am sure they will be."

Both sides have injury problems leading into the second Test as Zaheer Khan has been ruled out by India and Chris Tremlett is in doubt for England.
