Strictly Come Dancing: Giovanni Pernice 'shuts down romance rumours'

Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice reportedly denies rumours that he is dating celebrity partner Ranvir Singh.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has reportedly told friends that there is no truth to rumours that he is romantically involved with celeb partner Ranvir Singh.

The pair have sparked speculation that they may be dating thanks to a number of steamy performances on the ballroom contest, including an Argentine tango at the weekend which ended with them almost kissing.

Pernice, 30, and Good Morning Britain presenter Singh, 43, are both single, but according to The Sun, they are both starting to become irritated by the rumours.

"The romance viewers think they see between them is just for TV," a friend of Pernice told the newspaper.

"They have forged a close friendship but there isn't a spark like that between them.

"Both of them are getting tired of the rumours."

Pernice has form in dating contestants from the show, having previously gone out with partners Georgia May Foote and Jess Wright as well as 2018 runner-up Ashley Roberts.
