'Will & Grace' to pay tribute to 'I Love Lucy'

Will & Grace will pay tribute to iconic US comedy I Love Lucy in an episode airing next week.

Will & Grace will pay homage to classic sitcom I Love Lucy with a special episode next week.

The show starred the late Lucille Ball as the titular character and has iconic status in US TV history, having run from 1951 to 1957 on CBS.

The episode of Will & Grace, titled 'We Love Lucy', sees the four main cast members take turns playing Lucy in dream sequences.

The scenes recreate classic episodes from the original show, and one even sees Ball's daughter Lucie Arnaz make a cameo appearance as the boss of a chocolate factory.

'We Love Lucy' airs April 9 on NBC, while the comedy airs its second series finale on April 23.
