Good Morning Britain, This Morning to air on Christmas Day

ITV announces plans to air special episodes of Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning on Christmas Day.

ITV has confirmed that special episodes of Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning will air on Christmas Day morning this year for the first time.

The pre-recorded shows will begin with GMB at 7am, with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid honouring the "COVID heroes" of 2020 - from Captain Sir Tom Moore to NHS staff up and down the country.

At 9am, Lorraine Kelly will be "letting viewers into the secrets of her festive period" and chatting with some special guests as well as her usual contributors.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby take over at 10am with a special episode of This Morning that vows to be "packed full of heart-warming surprises, special guests, and of course favourite familiar faces".

Also in ITV's Christmas Day schedule are a special episode of The Chase with celebrity contestants Anne Diamond and Nicky Campbell, as well as James Martin's Christmas Day, which will see the chef cooking up some festive-themed dishes.
