Amy Walsh confirms that she is back working on Emmerdale after an extended period of maternity leave.

Amy Walsh has confirmed that she is back working on Emmerdale following an extended period of maternity leave.

The actress, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on the soap, departed the Dales in January 2022 in order to have her first child with partner Toby Alexander Smith.

Tracy made a brief return to the village last October as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations but now looks to be coming back full time.

Posting on social media, Walsh shared some pictures of her and co-star Roxy Shahidi doing yoga, alongside the caption: "Throwing down on our lunch break just like the old days was the highlight of my day #yogabuddies #likenotimehaspassed."

The news means that Tracy is likely to be back on screen in June or July.
