Piers Morgan secures an interview with Rishi Sunak to mark the Prime Minister's 100 days in office.

Piers Morgan is to interview Rishi Sunak today to mark the Prime Minister's 100 days in office.

Sunak took the reins of the country last October after Liz Truss's brief and chaotic stint in No 10, inheriting a cost of living crisis, the ongoing war in Ukraine and sky-high inflation.

The PM will sit down with Morgan - known for his confrontational interviews - this morning in Downing Street for an in-depth interview about the many challenges facing the country and how he plans to avoid a predicted Conservative wipeout at the next General Election.

Morgan said: "This is my first ever sit-down TV interview at No10 with a Conservative Prime Minister.

"Boris Johnson kept promising one but ended up running into a fridge to avoid me. So, I applaud Rishi Sunak for keeping his word, and I'm looking forward to finding out who the real Rishi is, and how he intends rescuing Britain from our current dire situation on many fronts.

"It will be unmissable television."

The interview will play out on a special edition of Piers Morgan Uncensored, tonight at 8pm on TalkTV.
