Team GB's Dom Harington: 'I can't blame the course'

Great Britain snowboard Dom Harington admits he can't blame his poor performance in the half-pipe event on the course at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park.

Great Britain snowboarder Dom Harington has admitted that he can't blame the course in Sochi for his exit from the half-pipe competition.

The 29-year-old failed the qualify from his heat as he posted a score of 37.25 after falling twice in his two runs at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park.

Harington told reporters: "I didn't do as well as I hoped. I was really nervous on my first run and my legs were like jelly.

"The second was going really well but then I hit a bump and went down and that was it - game over. The conditions are the same for everyone so you can't complain. The pipe was pretty bumpy because it was warm but the shape of it is still good."

The event was eventually won by Switzerland's Iouri Podladtchikov.
