GB News to introduce news bulletins

GB News to introduce news bulletins
GB News reveals that it will introduce separate news bulletins to the channel soon.

GB News will introduce separate news bulletins in the near future, the broadcaster has confirmed.

The station launched last month with an agenda of discussion-led programming rather than the rolling news format employed by the BBC and Sky, although the channel does dip into live coverage of major news events and press conferences.

In an update to followers, the broadcaster said that as a result of viewer demand, specific news updates will be introduced to the schedule "soon".

The bulletins will most likely be delivered by the regular show presenters at set times rather than via separate newsreaders, as currently happens in several shows including Dewbs & Co..

GB News also revealed that it is in the process of building "a lighter, brighter set", while most of the tech and sound issues "have been ironed out".

The channel has also been tweaking its schedule, launching new shows fronted by Nigel Farage and Mark Dolan, with more changes expected in the coming weeks.
