Martin Johnson disqualified from driving for speeding over 100mph

Former England rugby head coach Martin Johnson is reportedly banned from driving after being clocked speeding at 103mph.

Former England rugby boss Martin Johnson has reportedly been disqualified from driving for 49 days for speeding at more than 100mph.

The 43-year-old, who helped lead England to triumph at the 2003 World Cup, was clocked driving at 103mph on the M5 in Somerset in August.

As a result of Johnson's guilty plea, the former rugby player was given the ban and ordered to pay an £800 fine, as well as costs of £35 and an £80 victim surcharge, according to the Daily Star.

Johnson stepped down from his role as England coach in 2011 following a poor World Cup campaign in New Zealand.
