Former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff has won the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The 37-year-old beat off competition from Australian Football League legend Barry Hall and radio presenter Chrissie Swan to claim the prize in the South African jungle.

Speaking after his victory, Flintoff told host Chris Brown: "As an Englishmen winning something in Australia, it's unheard of.

"I'm stuck for words a little bit. I never expected to get this far It is a lot to take in really. I'm shocked, surprised, pleased; I've got a lot of emotions going round at the minute."

Flintoff's victory secured just over £50,000 for his chosen charity, which is the McGrath Foundation.
