Leicester City 'planning title bus parade'

Leicester City have reportedly been in touch with the city council over a potential bus parade if they win the Premier League title.

Leicester City have reportedly been in touch with the local council to discuss preparations for an open-top bus parade around the city.

Following yesterday's victory over Sunderland, the Foxes are now within just three wins of securing a historic Premier League title.

"With the club being top of the table we have spoken to the club about a parade," a Leicester City Council source told The Sun. "But they made it clear that they don't want to think about setting a date just yet.

"They are fully focused on winning football matches and it is something they will look at closely once they need to."

Leicester's participation in next season's Champions League was confirmed last night as Tottenham Hotspur defeated Manchester United, although manager Claudio Ranieri has urged caution as they look to wrap up the championship.
