Chelsea Christmas chant beats rivals to be named best of all time

Chelsea's adaptation of Frank Sinatra's 'Let It Snow' about manager Jose Mourinho tops a list of the best football Christmas chants of all time.

A Christmas football chant has placed Chelsea at the top of a list of wittiest seasonal songs from the terraces.

The Blues fans' adaptation of Frank Sinatra's 1948 song 'Let It Snow' has received 28% of the vote by 2,000 supporters who took part.

The chant expresses the fans' love for manager Jose Mourinho and contains the lyrics: "Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the goals are so delightful, Stamford Bridge is the place to go, Mourinho! Mourinho! Mourinho!"

According to the Western Daily Press, the festive chant that came second in the list was created by Liverpool supporters, who sang to the tune of Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' about their former striker Luis Suarez.

"Oh well I wish I could watch Suarez every day, When the skills start flowing and he sticks a chance away, Oh I wish I could watch Suarez every daaaaaaaaay, Let the chants... Ring out... For Suarez."

Chants about Arsenal's Santi Cazorla and Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer were also on the list.
