The 2015 Grand Slam of Golf has been cancelled after the PGA of America failed to find a new venue for the tournament.
In July the PGA confirmed it would be moving the event from Trump National Los Angeles after controversial comments from US Presidential hopeful and course owner Donald Trump.
The organisation had been attempting to find a new venue for the 36-hole tournament, which was won by Martin Kaymer last year, but has now confirmed the competition has been cancelled.
"Due to the timing and logistics needed to stage the PGA Grand Slam of Golf to the highest standards, we are disappointed that we will not be able to conduct the event this year," the PGA said in a statement.
The event had been due to feature Masters and US Open winner Jordan Spieth, Open champion Zach Johnson and PGA champion Jason Day.
The PGA has confirmed that it hopes to hold the Grand Slam of Golf next year.
