A very different Golden Globes award ceremony has taken place in Los Angeles overnight.
Following controversy over a lack of diversity among the membership of the Hollywood Foreign Press, the 2022 ceremony was not broadcast on television, nor was it live streamed on the internet. No celebrities or publicists were in attendance; instead, the ceremony played out as a private event with only members and charities invited along.
Succession was the big winner on the night, with three awards including Best TV Drama, while The Power of the Dog was named Best Picture - Drama and West Side Story won Best Picture - Musical.
