Horror sequel The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It shot to the top of the UK box office over the sunny Bank Holiday weekend.

The third movie in the franchise pulled in £2.71 million to push last week's number one, Peter Rabbit 2, into second place.

The James Corden kids movie added £2.05 million to take its gross to date to £7.48 million - comfortably the best performer at the box office since cinemas reopened their doors last month.

Cruella, starring Emma Stone as the famous villainess, managed third place with £1.45 million, while Japanese animation Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train opened in fourth with £693,081.
