NBCUniversal's Peacock service launches to Sky customers in Germany and Austria.

Peacock has officially launched for Sky customers in Germany and Austria, two months after making its debut in the UK and Ireland.

The on-demand streaming service comes from Sky owners NBCUniversal and offers an extensive library of archive content alongside originals including Saved By The Bell, Girls5eva and Rutherford Falls.

Peacock is now available at no additional cost to customers of Sky Q and Sky Ticket in Germany, as well as Sky X customers in Austria.

Elke Walthelm, evp of content at Sky Deutschland, said: "By integrating Peacock on Sky Q and Sky Ticket, we will further enhance the strong entertainment offering for all our customers and give them access to the best content from our partner NBCUniversal.

"With exclusive Peacock originals, reality and true crime and series from the library, we are very excited to offer Peacock to all our Sky Q and Sky Ticket customers."

Peacock is expected to roll out to Sky customers in Italy and Switzerland in the coming months.
