Horner calls for crowd-funding ban

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has criticised Caterham for turning to fans in order to help save the struggling Formula 1 team.

Caterham's administrator <a href="/formula-1/caterham/abu-dhabi-grand-prix/news/caterham-ask-fans-to-donate-gbp235m_187003.html">announced the plan</a> on Friday, which is designed to raise £2.35m and would see the team race in the final round of the championship at Abu Dhabi.

However, Horner believes that the task of saving constructors shouldn't fall to fans.
