Brad McKay charged with making "offensive comment" about Juanma Delgado

St Johnstone defender Brad McKay is charged by the Scottish FA for making an "offensive comment" about Hearts striker Juanma Delgado.

St Johnstone defender Brad McKay has been charged by the Scottish FA for making an "offensive comment" about Hearts striker Juanma Delgado.

The 22-year-old was alleged to have described the Spaniard as "a typical foreigner" who "gets touched and goes down" after his side's 4-3 loss at Tynecastle earlier this month.

McKay has until Monday to respond to the SFA notice of complaint, which does not specify a sanction for the charge, with a principal hearing scheduled for September 3.

Delgado signed a three-year deal with Hearts in June this year.
