Paris Saint-Germain are on the brink of signing out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on an initial loan deal, according to a report.

Tanguy Ndombele is reportedly set to end his Tottenham Hotspur nightmare as he closes in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Lyon man has not played a single minute in the Premier League since Boxing Day and was left out of the squad for the recent clashes with Leicester City and Chelsea.

Ndombele has failed to convince Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and now Antonio Conte in North London, and PSG are expected to complete a loan deal for the unsettled 25-year-old this month, despite reports of a possible switch to Valencia instead.

According to The Telegraph, Ndombele is now 'on the verge' of sealing a return to his homeland and reunion with Mauricio Pochettino, but there are still a few small details to be sorted out.

The report adds that Spurs want an obligation rather than an option to buy included in the deal, and the Lilywhites are also requesting that the entirety of his wages are covered by PSG during his initial loan spell.

Ndombele has 10 goals and nine assists from 91 games to his name in a Tottenham shirt since arriving in 2019 and remains contracted to Conte's side until 2025.
