Napoli will reportedly attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who is open to a move away as he "does not want to close any doors".

Napoli have reportedly set their sights on signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who is believed to be open to a move away from North London.

The 31-year-old made 25 Premier League appearances for Spurs during the 2020-21 season and he is currently on international duty with France for Euro 2020.

Napoli failed to qualify for next season's Champions League but, with Europa League football on the horizon, Luciano Spalletti is looking to add a midfielder to his squad.

According to TEAMtalk, Sissoko is on the radar of the Italian club and, after five years at Spurs, he has admitted that he will "not close any doors".

Speaking to Foot Mercato earlier this month, Sissoko said: "This is my fifth year at the club, and I have had some very good moments. Now, I am a person who does not close any doors. If a new challenge presents itself, we will see what I do.

"But today, I do not close any doors concerning my future, because as I said, it was a difficult year for me at the club."

Since arriving at Tottenham in 2016, Sissoko has gone on to score five goals and produce 17 assists in 202 appearances for the club.
