Arsenal are reportedly the latest club to show an interest in signing a highly-rated Championship teenager.

The 2023-24 campaign was a breakthrough one for 18-year-old Leeds United man Archie Gray, who excelled as both a right-back and central midfielder for Daniel Farke's side.

Gray turned out on 52 occasions for the Whites in all tournaments, registering one goal and two assists as Farke's men reached the playoff final, where they lost 1-0 to Southampton.

Despite Leeds' failure to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, Gray's rise to stardom was one of their success stories, and the 2006-born teenager earned his first two appearances for England's Under-21s earlier this year.

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has reportedly given the thumbs-up to joining one Premier League club amid a three-way scrap for his services.

After just one year in German football following his departure from Red Bull Salzburg, the 20-year-old has quickly become one of the most in-demand strikers on the continent.

Sesko initially struggled for consistency in the Bundesliga, but he ended his debut Roten Bullen season with 18 goals from 42 games in all competitions and hit a rich vein of form in the closing stages of the campaign.

The 2003-born attacker struck in each of Leipzig's last seven games in the top-flight season and also came up with seven contributions during Slovenia's successful Euro 2024 qualification bid, five of his own and two assists.

The Blues are currently in the process of confirming the appointment of Leicester City's Enzo Maresca as the club's new head coach.

Kalvin Phillips is reportedly considering leaving the Premier League amid interest from clubs in four different countries.

The 28-year-old is widely expected to leave Manchester City this summer after failing to establish himself as a first-team regular since joining the club almost two seasons ago.

Phillips has played just 31 times for Pep Guardiola's side and was sent on loan to West Ham United in January in search of regular game time to enhance his chances of making the England squad for Euro 2024.

However, the midfielder has been omitted from Gareth Southgate's provisional squad after failing to make the desired impact at the London Stadium, featuring just 10 times during the second half of the campaign, and the Hammers allegedly have no interest in signing him on a permanent basis.

The Red Devils have been linked with a plethora of names since the arrival of new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is expected to oversee a major squad overhaul at Old Trafford ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Ratcliffe has already been at the heart of a boardroom reshuffle that has seen Sir David Brailsford, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox all appointed in prominent roles, while Dan Ashworth could soon follow and become their new sporting director.

One of Europe's most in-demand midfielders that has been linked with a move to the Premier League has reportedly rejected a contract offer from Barcelona.

The Catalan giants are believed to be in the market for a new midfielder this summer, with Oriol Romeu set to depart at the end of the season.

Romeu arrived at Camp Nou from Girona last summer, but he was unable to establish himself as a first-team regular under former coach Xavi in 2023-24 and was reduced to just 11 La Liga starts.

There is also uncertainty over the future of long-serving midfielder Sergi Roberto, who is due to see his contract at the club expire at the end of next month.

Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo has issued an update on his future at the club after comments he made in recent interviews were "taken completely out of context."

Los Blancos supporters were left bemused and frustrated after the 23-year-old seemingly left the door open to leaving the club during an interview with DAZN on Tuesday in the build-up to Saturday's Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.

Asked whether he wishes to stay at Real Madrid, Rodrygo said: "Yes, well, anything can happen. I have a contract here, but the years I've been here have been a pleasure for me. As I said, I always want to be at this club, but let's see."

The Brazil international then gave a more definitive response about his future during an interview with El Desmarque, saying: "Yes, yes, I am happy. It's the club I've always dreamed of playing for, so I'm happy."

The 71-year-old and INEOS also owns Ligue 1 club Nice outright after completing an £88.7m takeover in 2019.

Todibo joined Nice from Barcelona on an initial loan deal in February 2021 before making his move permanent the following summer, and he has since established himself as a star player for the French outfit.

Liverpool have reportedly identified a Premier League striker as a potential replacement for Darwin Nunez this summer.

Nunez joined the Reds for a club-record £85m in the summer of 2022 and has since recorded 33 goals and 17 assists in 96 appearances across all tournaments.

The 24-year-old featured regularly in Jurgen Klopp's final season at Anfield and he contributed with 18 goals and 13 assists in 54 matches, helping Liverpool win the EFL Cup and secure a third-placed finish in the Premier League.

However, Nunez - who failed to score in his last 10 appearances of the 2023-24 campaign - has been criticised having been guilty of wastefulness in front of goal which subsequently led to the striker losing his regular starting spot in the final few weeks of the season.

Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen has hinted at the prospect of performing a U-turn over his future at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old joined Chelsea's academy in 2018 and made his senior debut just a year later, but he has since struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at the club.

Maatsen has played just 16 times in all competitions for the West Londoners, including just one Premier League start during the first half of the 2023-24 campaign.

A lack of game time under former boss Mauricio Pochettino was a key factor behind his loan move to Borussia Dortmund, where he has blossomed into a key player under Edin Terzic.
