Sevilla to win race for Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes?

Sevilla are reportedly on the brink of completing the signing of Netherlands international Quincy Promes from Spartak Moscow.

Sevilla have reportedly won the race to sign winger Quincy Promes from Spartak Moscow.

Promes has enjoyed a successful four years with the Russian giants, with 64 goals being scored from 127 appearances in all competitions.

A future move to the Premier League had been expected, with Liverpool and Southampton having both held an interest in the player, but Mundo Deportivo suggests that Sevilla are on the brink of completing a deal.

The report claims that the La Liga side have agreed to pay €21m (£18.88m) for the Netherlands international, who will allegedly pen a four-year contract.

Sevilla have been in the market for a versatile attacker after Joaquin Correa left the club to join Lazio.
