Eleven changes for Ireland

Martin O'Neill has completely rotated his Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly with USA tonight.

Eleven changes are made to the side who <a href="/football/scotland/euro-2016/result/result-maloney-fires-scots-to-vital-victory_188258.html">lost 1-0</a> to Scotland in a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday, with David McGoldrick and Cyrus Christie making their debuts.

Neither were born in Ireland but are eligible to play for the Republic through their grandparents.

Shay Given, 38, wins his 127th international cap in goal, while McGoldrick's Ipswich Town teammate Daryl Murphy, and Hull City trio Robbie Brady, Stephen Quinn and David Meyler are also handed starts.
