Paris Saint-Germain are willing to part ways with Neymar if it will help them keep Kylian Mbappe at the club, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly willing to part ways with Neymar if it will help them tie Kylian Mbappe down to a new contract.

Mbappe is yet to pen an extension on his existing deal beyond the end of the season and continues to be strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.

However, there have been recent suggestions that the Frenchman could yet be open to prolonging his stay in the French capital, as he is still undecided on his next career move.

According to Le Parisien, PSG have come up with three potential solutions to keep Mbappe on the books - one of which is to part ways with Neymar and allow him to hog the spotlight.

The report adds that handing Mbappe the captain's armband is another option, while they could also elect to appease the former Monaco starlet with the signings needed to challenge for Champions League glory.

Neymar has registered 11 goals and six assists in 24 matches for Mauricio Pochettino's side this term but will miss Wednesday's Ligue 1 battle with Angers due to suspension.
