Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to launch an approach for Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale during the summer transfer window.

Bayern Munich have reportedly identified Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale as a potential signing.

Bale is currently in his sixth campaign at the Bernabeu, but the Wales international has recently come in for criticism from his teammates and supporters.

The return of Zinedine Zidane may also lead to Bale spending more time out of the starting lineup in the long term, leaving the 29-year-old to make a decision regarding his future.

According to TEAMtalk, Bayern are ready to offer the attacker a route out of the Bernabeu and the player is open to a switch to the Bundesliga outfit.

Reports have previously indicated that Bale would prefer to remain in Spain, but a source has claimed that a summer transfer currently appeals to all parties.

Bale still has just over three years remaining on his contract at the La Liga team.
