Saturday's La Liga predictions including Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's La Liga action, including Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona.

Levante vs. Elche (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Levante will be looking to move out of the La Liga relegation zone when they continue their 2020-21 campaign at home to Elche on Saturday afternoon.

The Frogs are currently 18th in Spain's top flight, having picked up just six points from their eight matches thus far, while an encouraging start for Elche has left them in 11th spot in the division.

We say: Levante 1-1 Elche

It would be some story if Levante played out a fourth successive 1-1 draw and that is what we are expecting to happen on Saturday afternoon. There is not an awful lot between the two teams in terms of quality, and we are finding it difficult to predict anything other than a low-scoring draw in this encounter.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Villarreal vs. Real Madrid (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Real Madrid will be looking to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to Villarreal on Saturday afternoon.

Los Blancos suffered a 4-1 defeat to Valencia before the international break to drop to fourth position in the table, two positions and two points behind Villarreal, who have made an excellent start to 2020-21.

We say: Villarreal 2-2 Real Madrid

Madrid's injury problems are far from ideal, and they will be coming up against a Villarreal side full of confidence. We are finding it difficult to back the champions to win taking everything into consideration and have therefore backed an entertaining and relatively high-scoring draw on Saturday afternoon.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Sevilla vs. Celta Vigo (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Sevilla will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they continue their 2020-21 campaign at home to Celta Vigo on Saturday night.

Julen Lopetegui's side have only picked up 10 points from their seven league matches this season to sit 12th in the table, while Celta are 17th, having collected just seven points from nine fixtures.

We say: Sevilla 2-0 Celta Vigo

Sevilla have been far from their best in the league this season, while Celta could be boosted by a change of manager. The hosts will be determined to make it back-to-back victories in Spain's top flight, though, and we are finding it difficult to back anything other than a routine success for Lopetegui's team.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Atletico vs. Barcelona (Saturday, 8.00pm)

One of the standout fixtures on the La Liga calendar will take place at Wanda Metropolitano this weekend as Atletico Madrid welcome Barcelona for what should be a fascinating affair.

Atletico are currently third in the table after an impressive start to the season, but Barca are down in eighth, having only picked up 11 points from their opening seven matches of 2020-21.

We say: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

The two teams played out a 2-2 draw when they last locked horns at the end of June, and we are finding it difficult to separate them once again. Both sides will be without some key players on Saturday, but there will still be plenty of quality on the field, and a draw would not be the worst result for either manager.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
